about

This is the first piece I ever composed by freely playing while recording myself. It would be considered my first "spontaneous composition." but after I recorded it, I transcribed and heavily edited it to its present condition.

That was in 1994, and I made the recording on a cassette tape in a boom box that audibly clicked every few seconds. The clicking was also captured on the recording. Hey, we use what we can!

Years later I rediscovered the piece and included it on this album. I discovered hidden intricacies that my higher consciousness inlayed that I had no conscious awareness of including. Because of that, I liken this piece to be the foreshadowing of my spontaneous compositions in recent years, liike the albums "Jewels of Joy" and crescent City, where an overarching structure and organization reveals itself without conscious premeditation or planning.

Aeleoleon is the name of one my guides who has been present with me in early childhood. She visits me by moonlight.
